Finding an apartment to rent has always been tough in NYC, but I am starting to feel to MO sway in my favor. Landlords are offering one to two months free on longer term leases and websites like http://www.MLX.com are offering money back when you rent apartments while http://www.Skipbrokers.com is setting up appointments for you essentially offering brokerage services for no charge. Of course, there will always be Craigslist but it seems to me that even more brokers are on that website these days. As times are changing it is still not THAT EASY to find apartments in NYC, but it is much better than previous years.

Hey, I stumbled on an ad about Landlord Links by Kirby Sommers, so getting exasperated at all the bogus ads on Craigslist, I decided to give it a go. That was a little after 1pm earlier today. As promised, they arrived within 15 minutes. I also received additional information that just saved me a month’s rent(!!!). So, I am passing on this info to my fellow renters —– what these LINKS do is THE REAL DEAL!! You get connected to LANDLORDS information. I FOUND MY APT TODAY!! I am signing a lease tomorrow!!! I could not have done this by using CL NO WAY!!
The apartment I found wasn’t advertised anywhere, and btw I’m not paying any fee —- not hidden or otherwise. I called to thank Kirby, but am so happy that I am posting this here as well. Hope it helps someone.
I also received a FREE copy of her new book Every Renter’s Survival Guide which told me the inside secrets of HIDDEN FEES by landlords!! So because I had the real deal…meaning access (which I keep forever) to landlord’s listings pages, in some cases I could tell when the landlord was paying a broker …MEANING YOU AND ME PAY THE BROKER. With Kirby’s LANDLORD LINKS — I was able to GET IT REMOVED as FREE REnT FOR ME!!
Hope this helps someone who is looking for REAL NO FEE APARTMENT HELP IN NEW YORK!! Her # 212 787 8726 and website: http://kirbysommers.com
